  • Hi, my name is Karen T.  As a personal trainer and Director of Group Fitness at Niagara Health and Fitness, I work one-on-one with men and women of all fitness levels.

    I will customize a fitness program that will include strength and cardiovascular training as well as nutritional counseling.  I will motivate you to make the most of your abilities through knowledge, education and encouragement.

    I will help you get past the plateaus.  By pushing you past your comfort level, I will provide the necessary tools to accomplish the end result through progressively challenging workouts.

  • As a life long athlete I have always been looking to push my physical and mental capabilities to the next level.  In high school I was able to compete in seven different varsity sports.  My desire to learn, grown and compete was fueled after college graduation in my preparation for the Army Special Forces.  That dream was cut short when I was forced to disassociate due to a knee injury.

    My desire to push my body and compete eventually led me to Colorado Springs, CO where for the last year I have been training and fighting in the Mixed Martial Arts world.  The world of Mixed Martial Arts presented me with many opportunities including the chance to train and work with Olympic athletes as well as current Ultimate Fighter contestants.

    I recently made the decision to move back to the Lewiston area where I was raised to continue my training as well as pursue a life long ambition to work in the fitness industry.  I bring back with and an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certification, a 3-0 record, a wealth of personal experience and a strong desire to help, educate, and motivate others to reach their own personal fitness goals.
