    • Hi, my name is John Johnson. I'm the new guy on the Niagara Health and Fitness team. I bring a fresh perspective and approach to getting fit and healthy, dedicated to teaching gimmick-free, back-to-basics fitness utilizing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), old-time strongman training techniques, alternative exercises and traditional exercises. This type of exercise program has a proven track record of effectiveness through time-honored and tested movements - “put in the work, get results”. I believe in putting the “work” back into the “workout” to create a more functionally-fit body for you. With my six years of experience as a personal trainer and my life-long commitment to and passion for fitness, you will get great results.

       I will set-up a personalized fitness program for you, which will include exercises to reach your specific goals, nutritional counseling, motivation and support. I work with all fitness levels, from beginner to experienced athletes, from weekend warriors to moms and dads just hoping to be in better shape to keep up with their kids. If you are training for a specific sporting event or if you just want to look and feel more confident and healthy I will help you attain the desired results.

       Fitness is not just about looking good, it's about being good. I believe in creating and shaping bodies with muscles that not only show, but muscles that go. Being functionally fit means having a body that will step-up to the demands placed on you - from fun with the family, physical demands at work,  to sports challenges. Functional fitness means always being ready and prepared to meet the demands and challenges of your daily life.
